What is MSR?
Monthly Status Report
An MSR is a recurring CDRL deliverable that reports the prior month's performance: work completed, schedule and cost status, staffing, risks, and metrics against the contract's quality standards. It is the government's primary written window into how a task order is actually running.
MSRs are due on a fixed monthly cadence for the contract's life and are read by the COR and program office. Late or thin MSRs draw attention fast.
