What is CoT?

Cursor on Target

Cursor on Target is a lightweight XML message format for exchanging time-stamped 'what/when/where' events between systems — the lingua franca behind TAK. Its simplicity is the point: any system that can emit a CoT event can put an object on everyone else's map.

CoT is how disparate sensors, apps, and servers share a common picture; logistics events expressed as CoT become visible to the operational edge.
